      About Us

The Salvation Army of Montgomery County, Texas, is dedicated to meeting human needs without discrimination. Through programs such as our Center of Hope emergency shelter, food pantry, financial assistance, emergency disaster services, and seasonal initiatives like Angel Tree and Red Kettles, we provide support, stability, and hope to individuals and families facing hardship.
As both a church and a social service provider, we offer opportunities for worship, fellowship, and spiritual growth, while also addressing practical needs with compassion. Our mission is to do the most good in our community—serving our neighbors, empowering lives, and sharing the love of Christ.
The Salvation Army, an international movement, is an
evangelical part of the universal Christian Church. Its
message is based on the Bible. Its ministry is motivated by
the love of God. Its mission is to preach the gospel of
Jesus Christ and to meet human needs in His name
without discrimination.
