About Us

The mission of MCMLS is to be a leading resource for information, education, culture, and recreation, contributing to life-long learning and adapted to the special needs/interests of the community.

---

Our public library, a vibrant hub of free resources open to everyone. We offer a diverse range of services aimed at enriching lives and fostering lifelong learning. Whether you're here to explore our extensive collection of books, dive into movies, or enhance your digital skills through internet literacy programs, there's something for everyone.

Our library is more than just a repository of knowledge; it's a community space where individuals of all ages and backgrounds can connect and grow. From toddlers discovering their first picture book to adults pursuing new passions, we are committed to supporting your journey every step of the way.

Explore our shelves stocked with the latest bestsellers and timeless classics across various genres. Our digital resources provide access to e-books, audiobooks, and online databases, ensuring you have information at your fingertips wherever you are. Need assistance navigating the digital landscape? Our internet literacy workshops are designed to empower you with essential digital skills, from basic internet use to advanced online research.

All MCMLS programs and services are free and open to the public. We look forward to having you at any of our locations. A library card from one branch will give you access to all 7 branches across Montgomery County, and we will even ship library materials from branch to branch to get them to you!
