About Us
My whole life has led me to this career of working and helping Seniors in any fashion possible. I was an insurance wholesaler for many years working in Life and Annuities until my dad became Medicare-eligible and fell ill quite quickly. I ended up spending many hours, days, weeks, helping to run him to doctors, coordinating his care, etc. When he passed, I was walking my dog at the park thinking to myself, what do Senior Citizens do if they don’t have a child to help tend to them? My dog started playing with another dog, I introduced myself to the lady and ask what she did for a living. Thinking I needed to get my agency started back up when she told me she was an insurance agent, I took it as fate. I ask her to lunch, but instead of me recruiting her as an agent, she told me all about Medicare Advantage plans that I had no knowledge of at the time. I felt like I missed the boat on my dad because even as an insurance agent, I was not aware of the coordination of care available to help seniors. I immediately started learning everything I could on the plans and became a certified Medicare agent, instead of going back to being a wholesaler. This way I get to actually meet with Seniors face to face or virtually if they prefer. Now I know, this is where I was meant to be all along. I ended up finding my passion out of tragedy. I no longer feel like I work but instead, I take care of people I love, my clients, who are now like extended family members.
I thank God each and every day for leading me to find my calling. Every day is a joy and a pleasure as I get to meet new people who will also become part of the family! I enjoy making sure they have all their needs met, not just insurance needs, but if there are community programs available that could help them live a less stressful life, I help them to find those programs as well. Programs that help pay their electricity, help with food, help with gas cards, help to keep their prescription cost to a minimum. We want to help them to enjoy their golden years in any way possible.
Our team has grown significantly and continues to expand as I meet more and more people with the same passion to help Seniors. Based in Houston, TX but also licensed in FL, LA, MA, and TN.
