About Us
Assistance League of Montgomery County is dedicated to transforming the lives of children and adults through its seven community programs.
To enhance self-esteem, promote learning, and encourage regular school attendance, Operation School Bell® provides new school clothing to economically disadvantaged students in Montgomery County, as well as donating literacy books to enrich each school’s curriculum.
Assault Survivor Kits® -The lives of assault and trauma survivors are made a little more bearable by providing the survivors with new clothing, toiletries, and comfort items while they are receiving care in hospital emergency rooms or at The Women’s Center in Conroe or The Woodlands.
Community Partner Outreach strives to reach out with a helping hand to the homeless and disadvantaged residents of Montgomery County by providing them with basic necessities.
Fans for Friends provides new box fans in the summer and blankets in the winter to agencies that then distribute them to disadvantaged individuals who suffer from the extreme summer heat and the cold winters in Texas.
The clients of various community social service agencies are thrilled when the Pass It On Program provides them with unsold items from the Thrift Shop.
Through our Scholarship Program, we remove barriers to continuing education, providing adults of all ages with the opportunity to enhance their quality of life through education.
Tender Loving Care Dolls provides handcrafted, huggable dolls to counselors who use them as tools to encourage children to express their feelings during difficult times.
