Job Description
• Manages major software transition

• Collaborates with Computer Analyst III to provide technical support and troubleshooting for over 50    deputy clerks
• Researches software options for replacement or upgrade of critical software system
• Tests software products
• Advises County Clerk on product selection
• Builds relationships with team members and vendors
• Reviews contractual agreements
• Becomes an expert in current systems in use at the Count Clerk’s office
• Learns statutory and County requirements that impact software usage
• Interacts with other departments, agencies, & elected officials
• Presents status updates and explains IT needs to other departments & officials
• Provides hands-on training of software to staff
• Troubleshoots and works with vendor to ensure smooth software transition and secure records migration and management
• Handles secure/confidential records
• Any other duties as assigned

Skills Required
• Experienced in leading a successful software migration from one software system to another (10+       years experience preferred)

• Bachelor’s Degree/4 years of college or equivalent certifications (Required)
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to prioritize work assignments
• Attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and with a team
• Strong ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers and others
• Must perform all duties in a professional, proficient and pleasant manner
• Must be punctual and maintain regular and predictable attendance
• Ability to learn new systems quickly
• Must pass a background security screening ($41.50)
