Funeral Home Support Staff -Accepting applications @1703 Porter Rd. Conroe TX – 936-756-2724

Role and Responsibilities
                  Assist office support staff with daily duties as filing, answering the phone, releasing cremated remains or death certificates, calling families with information concerning cremations etc.
Work at the receptionist desk for lunch relief and one Saturday a month.
Support Funeral Home Administrator as the need arises.
Enter Osiris contracts into HMIS daily
Monitor and file preneed insurance payments
Take items to various locations, i.e. post-office consulate office etc.
Audit completed funeral home files before filing in correct files
Other Duties as needed

Qualifications and Education Requirements
  • High School diploma or GED equivalent
  • Bi-lingual is a plus but not required
  • Computer entry knowledge is required with at least 3-5 years’ experience in data entry
    Preferred Skills
  • Must have an attention to details
  • Must be flexible in hours worked
  • Experience in customer service is required
 
 
Additional Notes
This position reports to the funeral home administrator and general manager and is key to the successful running of this location
 
Rate of pay is based on experience and work history
Part-time with potential to become full-time
