With programs and events offered every month, you or your staff will grow professionally, make new connections, and give back to our community.
December's professional development luncheon focused on "Financial Literacy Reality Check" will be presented by Latina Roberson with Rave Financial Union.
LaTina Roberson is an Arkansas native that currently resides in Conroe, TX and is the Business Development Representative for Rave Financial Credit Union. She has a banking background that spans over two decades now. Her introduction to banking was due to her being a wife and new mom, therefore she accepted a position as a teller with U.S. Bank, unknowing to her, it would be the start of a wonderful career.
Over these 20+ years, she has held many titles in the retail and operational realm of banking, which consists of banker, Assistant Branch Manager, Branch Manager, CRA (Community Reinvestment Act) officer, Diversity and Inclusion Officer, as well as Business Development Officer.
Her passion for networking and helping others is what fuels her to be her best, as well as to give back and share knowledge with others pertaining to financial literacy for all age ranges. She has actively volunteered and partnered with organizations such as The Ronald McDonald House, Habitat for Humanity, Junior League, and many more. She’s also been recognized and honored as a 2015 graduate of Leadership Greater Little Rock (LGLR) as well as has been selected recognized by Merrill Lynch (2016) as one of industry’s “Taste of the Finest” of young professionals. And will now be a part of LMC (Leadership Montgomery County) class of 2025.
LaTina’s life motto is based upon a quote from Maya Angelou: “If you are always trying to be normal, you will never know how amazing you can be”.
